GOLD COAST CHURCH

The Coptic Community on the Gold Coast in Queensland commissioned AUDAA to prepare a masterplan to cater for their aspiration and future expansion. The masterplan included a church, community buildings, playgrounds areas for reflection and contemplation. The brief was to invoke the spirit of Coptic ecclesiastic architecture in a modern context. The project is to be staged to cater for the community’s financial capacity. The first stage will comprise the community buildings and the next stage will be the church.
